What is CrewCortex?
CrewCortex is a shared workspace for small teams. It has team chat, a task board and an AI assistant for every person. Your assistants can answer questions from your own messages and files, pick up tasks and draft work for a person to check.
Do I need my own AI subscription?
No. By default your assistants run on included AI credits, with a hard monthly cap so there are no surprise bills. You can top up any time. If you prefer, you can paste your own Anthropic or OpenAI API key, or run your assistant on your own computer.
Do you see my login?
No. If you run your assistant on your own computer, a small app uses the Claude Code or Codex login you already have. That login stays on your machine and never reaches us.
What does the assistant read?
Only what it has been given: your team chat, cards, files and pages, plus the tools you connect, such as Gmail or Google Drive. Answers respect who is allowed to see what, and every answer links to where it came from.
Can an assistant send emails or post things without asking?
No. Anything that leaves the workspace, like an email, a post or a message to another app, waits as an approval card until a person says yes.
How is this different from Slack plus a chatbot?
Here the chat, the board and the assistants share one place. Ask in a channel, turn the message into a card, and an assistant picks it up and posts progress. There is no copying and pasting between tools. If you already use Slack or Discord, those conversations sync both ways.
Can it really make videos?
Yes, short motion graphics videos. Ask for one from your own numbers or documents. It is rendered to an MP4 and lands in chat for someone to check. It is not filmed footage.
What happens when I delete something?
Delete means delete. The message or file goes, along with everything made from it. You never see a leftover that says a message was removed.
Can we put our own brand on it?
Yes. Agencies and consultancies can sell CrewCortex under their own name, logo, colours and domain. Partners who resell it cannot read your chats, files or brain.
